About Ninth Street

Your hosts, Barbara Bell & Sheri Crider have been living in Albuquerque for much of their lives. Sheri is an artist who created SCA Contemporary Art a local contemporary art space and studio. Much of the artworks in the home originate from local and national artists affiliated with that space. Most of the guest artists & curators stay at the home. Barbara Bell originally bought the home in 1996. Together, Barbara & Sheri have poured much of their hard work and heart into Ninth Street and hope that you will find it a creative, comfortable space.

The house is a bungalow style home built in 1948. The house remains true to its original style, while adding modern sensibilities. The bathroom was renovated in 2010. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed, closet and television.
