Artist/Curator Submission Guidelines

Description:  SCA Contemporary Art is dedicated to facilitating a space for experimental, innovative and contemporary art.  The alternative gallery space, a newly renovated warehouse encompasses 17ft. ceilings and a 3,000 sq. ft. exhibition area.  We support exhibitions by emerging and established, local, national and international artists working with large scale sculpture, painting, print, drawing, photography, installation, sound and video art.

We urge artists/curators to view our archive and review recent exhibitions, or visit the gallery to understand our general goals and focus. If accepted the gallery will install work, provide an opening reception and publicity to advertise the exhibition. The gallery does not fund shipping of work.

New Submissions:  Artists/curators may submit a proposal for an exhibition.  To submit work, please refer to the Submission Checklist for the required format.  Proposals for 2012 will be accepted January - April, 2011. The deadline for exhibition proposals for 2012 is April 8th.

Proposals accepted for 2012 will be contacted by April 30th. 

SCA Contemporary Art does not accept unsolicited artist submissions by email.
