Artist/Curator Submission Guidelines

Description:  SCA Contemporary Art is dedicated to facilitating a space for experimental, innovative and contemporary art.  The alternative space is a renovated warehouse with 17ft. ceilings and a 1500 sq. ft. exhibition area.  We support exhibitions by emerging and established, local, national and international artists working with large scale sculpture, painting, print, drawing, photography, installation, sound and video art.

We urge artists/curators to view our archive and review recent exhibitions, or visit the space to understand our general goals and focus. Installation assistance, an opening reception and publicity for the exhibition will be provided for all accepted proposals. Out of town artists are also provided housing if they wish to attend the reception and/or installation of their work. The gallery does not fund shipping of work.

New Submissions:  Artists/curators may submit a proposal for an exhibition.  To submit work, please refer to the Submission Checklist for the required format.  Proposals for 2013 will be accepted January - February, 2012. The deadline for exhibition proposals February 29th, 2012.

Proposals accepted for 2013 will be contacted by March 16th, 2012. 

SCA Contemporary Art does not accept unsolicited artist submissions by email.
